Why it’s almost great (but not quite)

The owner was understanding and friendly,, making the experience slightly better despite setbacks.

Staff appeared overwhelmed. they struggled with basic service, negatively affecting the experience.

The room presented some serious cleanliness issues, including stained sheets and an unpleasant odor, especially from the malfunctioning refrigerator. Breakfast options were scant at best, with only cold coffee and pre-packaged danish available, which left me hitting a fast food joint instead. Additionally, issues with the TV service in both rooms left us without evening entertainment, and the apparent presence of cigarette burns on the bedding was uninviting.

The room had a functional refrigerator that worked well for storing our snacks and drinks during the stay.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the bathroom was a concern. I found hairs in the sink and shower, which required me to clean them myself.

I had a very pleasant stay for one night. the microwave in the King Room was a great surprise, and I enjoyed the hot shower with plenty of towels. However, the clerk was overwhelmed, which impacted service.

Nice stay despite some hiccups

I stayed for a night and found the room pretty comfy. The maid was super friendly and even gave me extra towels when I asked. It was great to have a coffee maker in there! Just wish the internet connection was stronger, though. Ended up using my phone instead.

america's best value inn-athens has a nice outdoor pool that was refreshing. it's close to everything, making it easy to explore the area. the double room was spacious enough for our family with children, which we really appreciated.

Loved the fridge and microwave combo in our room! It was awesome to warm up meals after a long drive.

The kids enjoyed spending time at the nearby historic park, where we picnicked and soaked up some sun. The spacious double room with two beds worked well for our family of five, and we appreciated the affordable price during our stay with my father.

This place was just a perfect match for resting at all in Athens with excellent value for money. The coffee maker in the room was a nice touch. it helped kick-start my mornings. Bring your own snacks since the breakfast options are limited.

I stayed in the King Room and the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was really nice, especially Jamie at check-in, who even sprayed deodorizer when I mentioned a smell. However, I did notice some weird stains in the bathroom. that wasn't great. Overall, the comfy bed made the night bearable, and I enjoyed the affordable price for my stay.
